The North Hills School District Board of Education voted to extend Dr. Patrick Mannarino's contract during their committee meeting with action on Sept. 4, retaining him as superintendent of the district through 2029.

“The board is thrilled to be securing your future at North Hills,” Board of Education President Allison Mathis said in announcing the contract extension Thursday night.

She said, “I’ve had the pleasure of working with you for many years and I can attest to your passion for education, your integrity, vision, adaptability, empathy, and more than anything, your desire to do what is in the best interest of students. We are lucky to have you and we are excited to see what we can accomplish in the next several years together.”

Dr. Mannarino has served as superintendent of North Hills School District since 2012 after two years as an assistant superintendent.
